You have to reprogram them when you rotate tires--why?
If there's one sensor that says "A tire is low", it doesn't matter. You have to look for it.

If it tells you *exactly* what tire is bad (like the corvette), then I understand.

Boy, if that's true about the cost, then the law of unintended consequences is going to tick a lot of people off when this becomes mandatory. I think it's next year.

Hopefully, all the tire stores and wal-marts / etc. will buy a tool that lets them reprogram. Who wants to go to Discount Tire for cheap tires, then have to drive to the dealer for an expesive reprogramming.

Nothing a little black tape over the indicator won't cure.
