Well, if current events werent what they were with us waiting around for test results....and work being busy..I woulda been down there by now. As it is, the block is on the stand, pan off and head will be coming off when I get home. The danged crank bolt is another fun one. I hit it with 150 psi through the 1/2" impact and got nothing honey. I hate it when this happens. Will probably bolt on a spare flywheel and the extra bellhousing...remount the starter with the engine assembly chained down to the work sled. Otherwise its off to the store for cutoff wheels! Went through 4 of them last saturday when I found out the ball on the truck was too big for the tow dolly. Sumabitzin nut was frozen solid...so I had to encourage it off. LOL

Soon my friend...soon. The rod and crank will more than likely be added to your scrap bucket....pretty cooked along the #1 rod journal.

PS- Keep in mind, I have that other laser block to fiddle with as well. Its currently at 40over on the pistons, .50 mains and .25 rods. Cylinders are good to go as are the crank journals. More than likely just require some new rings and bearings and be set. Would like to use that crank in the Celicas block though...its a virgin block. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
