Between my twiddling with it and the previous owner storing it, it sat for about a year or even more I'd say. I did crank it over a few times with the starter while on the stand.

Just did the timing belt and idler/tensioner, water pump, spark plugs, replaced the oil pan and pickup ass'y, painted the block, replaced the hoses and cleaned it up. Rear main seal too, turned the flywheel, new clutch. Pretty much it. No leaks so far.


Forgive me if you said already but how many miles were on it? Was the rear main seal pretty easy with the motor out of the truck?
