It would be more believable if an independent tester had done it!!!!! I quit running the K & N because of the amount of grit I found in the tube from the air filter to the TB. One of the things you can do on all air filter-sealing surfaces is to slather them with grease to help stop the leaking and the dirt from entering through non-filtered places. Did this on dirt bikes and it seemed to help.
