Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm needing more room to in the back of the runner to move a couch, and was wondering if anybody has removed the roolbar before. Does the bar need to be there to keep the body from twisting? Or is it safe to remove? Couch doesn't weigh much just way too big, plus the bar would be going right back on after moving a few sections.

It can be removed, no problem. 4 bolts on each bracket hold it in place.

2 bolts on each bracket, actually.
Oh, and make sure to use some penetrating oil, i snapped off 3 bolts, and there was no way they were going to come out (the sheared off ends). I ended up drilling them out and putting in new nuts and bolts.

Ah, I guess there are only two. I could see two exposed and assumed there were two more under the carpet, but no, nothing under there. I was thinking they were like the All Pro roll bar kit I need to get installed, it uses 4 bolts per bracket.
