I'm planning the V6 Brake UpGrade on a 84 Pup and have a couple of questions concerning the calipers and how much they interfere with the wheel rims. I know spacers are avalible but do not want to go that route. Presently I have about a 1/4" of clearance from the caliper to the wheel rim.

1. How much wider are the calipers in the diminsion that would interfere with the wheel rim than the stock calipers ?
2. For those that grinded off caliper material, how much materal did you have to grind to clear the rims?
