Sealed the holes - but luckily, the little rubber feet I used were slightly smaller at the bottom and slightly larger at the top than the holes they were seating into - so with a couple extra turns of the wrench on those bolts, the pressure-fit was pretty darn tight...

A little wind noise - but that started when I took the luggage rack - and didn't increase noticeably by adding the lightbar - still puzzling ways to make the mounting mess a little more aerodynamic - but the bar itself is pretty well made... MY question (to be answered with *koff* reasearch) is: what's it gonna do to my gas mileage? *shrug* we shall see!
