Look into 1 ton toyota steering linkages. I have not verified it, but i was told that the 1 ton stuff is bigger. I figure if mine ever fail, I would look into 1 ton stuff.

You could see what a machine shop would charge to machine down a larger end and cut new threads, shouldn't be that much.
