(selec-trac) theres got to be someone on this planet that knows whats wrong! I've had my pimp(ette) ride for not quite a year now, a while back it started to act nuts after moving the 4wd out of 2 wheel. No matter if it was in 2 wheel 4part time or 4 full time .. if it was moved from 2wd it seemed to want to be stuck in part time. Riding rough ... whining loudly ... nearly refuses to take a sharp turn. (part time indicator dash light NOT on when the shifter is not in part time). I took it to one mechanic who told me nothing was wrong with it .. but i dont think he gave me enough credit to really take it for a drive or look inside too much because i got it back and it acted as usual - terrible. I took it a week later to a dealer mechanic, who replaced the whole transfer case. After getting it back, i shifted through the gears on a couple different occasions and it seemed fine. Until tonight, driving through a bad storm, i shifted into 4wd, and it started all over again. The only thing i know to relate to it is that i generally only use the 4wd in nasty weather, and right now, that's rain. Could it be electrical? If not not... what in the world...?!?!?
