pimp(ette) ride is just my term of endearment for my spiffy jeep. you know, pimp rides, well i'm a chick ... hence the "ette".

anyhow, i haven't really had it off road i bought it to get me up the side of my mountain in the snow (formerly had a ford that did not like that idea). It will act fine until i move it out of 2wd. It seems to just be stuck in 4part time, the wheels lock up on sharp turns and it just plain sounds angry. i know that 4wd growls and hums, but ... not when the shifter says its in 2wd. it will act this way for 1 day or multiple days at a time (whatever its feeling like doing) and eventually just kick itself out, until i shift it out of 2wd again. thanks for your help, this is soooo aggrivating!
