I know when I had my mechanic swap in a used japanese engine, they went through several before they found one that was a good engine (leak down test, etc.) which took several weeks.

The fact that this company picks up the shipping tab means that they eat alot of the cost if they screw up the engine so it sounds like a better alternative to the japanese used engines.
