There is a 2.6 at a local 4x4 shop that I've looked into. It is completely rebuilt, with machine work done at very reputable local shops. The assembly was done in house. They've had it for about 3 years, so the price has come down from $1900 to $1000. It's a P-IIII block, has intake and exhaust manifolds, carb, alternator bracket, basically a complete drop-in. the only hang-up is the 2WD oil pan. But at that price, for a complete engine, the cost of a gasket to swap your pan over is no biggie. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
