I picked up a 16" Permacool Turbo fan to replace my stock fan on '99 Trooper. I've been warned about their switches being junk, so I'd like a suggestion on a variable switch and where I should mount temperature probe. Thanks.

Did you have any luck sourcing a temperature switch?

I'm in the process of doing the same. Here's a link for one alternative. I haven't tried it but it looks good, just kinda pricy ($50USD).

Still searching, thinking.

If you want something done right do it yourself two or three times!
