Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread loose brake pad? #621887 07/03/05 05:11 AM Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 481 Tennessee taro OP Mudrunner i have a '97 trooper 3.2 sohc auto. my rear brakes are probably due for a new set of pads. just in the last few days, i've been getting brake squeal when i make a hard turn to the right. can anyone show me the light on this before i dive in and make a mess of things? thanks, taro Re: loose brake pad? But I know that my trooper has wear indicators that provide a nice audible squeal when the pads are worn down too low. It started with a slight squealing as I was turning, and it wasn't long before the unmistakable sound of the wear indicator started. I think when the pads get thin they start to drag or something.
