she gave up her box to the salted, wintery Minnesota roads.


all the bed bolts basically broke off because they were rusted so bad...


getting ready to head to the salvage yard..


on the way with the tailights duct taped to the bumper...


we just kicked it off into the parking lot at the salvage yard.. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />


getting the hell out of there...


took it to the car wash, and sprayed off the 18 years of buildup underneath..


a mockup with the new bed... it almost looks respectable now..


in short.........beaters rule.

i'll prolly take a grinder and clean up the frame a bit, and quick spray bomb it with some primer. once the new box is on, i have a few cans of satin black implement paint to spray onto the whole truck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
