As disappointing as this is, I think this job is beyond my ability. I just spent some time poking around under the truck , and I can't figure out how in the hell I could reach the solenoid wiring to disconnect it, nor can I figure out how I would actually get the starter out of the engine compartment if I could get the wiring unhooked.
