Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Hello All,
Here is an interesting conundrum for you. My transmission was supposedly rebuilt last year here in Guatemala. However in the last 8 months I?ve had it go out on my 3 times. Each time it is the same problem. When I shift into reverse the shifter goes to far and then jams up leaving the transmission in 4th gear. Each time that this has happened has been in ¿normal circumstances¿. Not high torque or uphill or anything in which the extra force could be explained. The mechanic cannot find anything in the tranny that is wrong. However obviously there is a problem. Has anyone had this problem or know what part(s) is required to fix it. I don?t want this to happen to me on the trail some day.
Thanks for your help. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
