I just thought I'd resurrect this thread because of what happened to me yesterday. I just bought a 2001 VW Beetle a few months ago. It's about time for it's timing belt change. So I do the research and find the best price/quality parts at a place called www.dieselgeek.com

Well just for a comparision between the two companies I'll share what happened:

[color:"red"] I got online and made my order, paid with a credit card and went to church. I didn't think anything else about it. About 7:30 that evening (it's Sunday mind you) and the phone rings. I answer and it's Jim Royston with dieselgeek customer service.

He tells me he's having a problem with the address I gave him. He's getting an error when trying to make his shipping label. I know what happened right away as I have just moved and forgot I'm in Bluefield VA not Bluefield WV now. I thanked him for his catching my error and getting in touch with me.

My package shipped out this morning and I got an email and a tracking number letting me know it's on the way. [/color]

So does anyone see the difference between the two compaines? He called me to correct a problem. Not me calling customer service numerous times trying pull teeth to find out information.

Props to Diesel geek. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> If anyone has a Diesel in their fleet I highly recommend them for parts and great service.
