I would say that is close for a complete kit. For the more common transmissions they are $175. I get my stuff from a local place called USAMatic and a nationwide place called Daaco Detroit. Check the yellow pages and see who is in your area. You can also call a trans shop in your area and see where they get their stuff. You will have to buy some basic transmission tools to build one. Like a piston return spring compressor, and various snapring pliers.
