That screw only changes the mix at idle. Once you touch the throttle the circut is cut off and you run off the mains/secondaries. A stock engine is set up correctly and none of the fuel specs need to be changed.


A leakdown test would be best. It could be that you have bad valve stem seals and you are leaking oil in there. It's just realy hard to tell from this far away.
