I had the same problem w/ my 1991 Toyota Pick up. Turned out to be the PCV valve. Might wanna give that a shot! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It only costs about 7 bucks from the stealership too!

Don't forget the imfamous EGR valve! It might be filthy and sticking when it shouldn't, so give that a good cleaning or a good wrap w/ a hammer (thanx Darin <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />) and see if that helps also. G'luck!
