The Rubicon trail was pretty wild! Took 13 hours to go 7.5 miles, which includes about three hours of waiting for broken jeeps to be moved or repaired. Everyone was amazed that I had the T out there. My carnage was mostly due to trees (go figure) which caused a dented rear quarter and a lump to the cab above the rear window (still can't figure out how I did that). The spotter at the Big Sluice screwed me up since he did not know what to do with a full size rig and I ended up ruining a wheel, but I think the tire is gonna be OK though the sidewall is pretty gouged. Spent a few days camping at Rubicon springs (swimming, eating, drinking, and gawking at babes in bikinis). Thge trail out was much faster and there were a lot less rough spots, although Cadillac hill was pretty nerve racking due to the steep drop offs. Spent today cleaning up the truck and the after shots look pretty good

Maybe time for some aluminum wheels. They don't do that.

Great pics and nice job on getting the truck through the Rubicon!

Sorry to see the rock sliders couldn't save you from all the rock damage, but at least the wheels are only $40!

How did the microwave hold up?

I spent several hours yesterday using some elbow grease and was able to buff out all the tree marks. I used a piece of 2x4 to pop out the rear passenger quarter and it looks almost back to normal. The rocker by the driver door will need some touch up paint and since I need to go to the dealer to get some brake pads I will pick up some paint too.

Since I have a strange backspacing on my wheels (4.75) it was the same price to get 2 new rockcrawlers (3.75 BS) as it was to get one wheel to match the others. Now I will be able to get rid of the front wheel spacers.

The tires were rubbing pretty good on the trail so I need to do some more cutting on the back of the front wheel wells. Seems like a lot of metal there.

BTW, I did not take the microwave as all meals were included

That surprises me... What's the height from the ground to the top of the fender on your rig?

The top's not the problem. It's the back edge of the fender, and there's not a lot you can cut before you get to tub.

Yeah I know... What I'm wondering is how high his is after 6" vs. mine after 4.5". I have no rub with my 35" at all - but I beat my fenderwells back pretty good.

42.5" to the top of the fenderwell from the ground. Looks like there is still some metal I can bend with a sledgehammer on the rear bottom.

What happens if I cut into the tub?
