Taro, I was on the phone with St. Charles ordering gaskets and filters a couple of each and was told that the filters have a life of like 100,000 miles. and they can be cleaned. and they cost $74 a pop as well. Looking at what I recieved it is kind of like an inlet and an outlet encased in an aluminum shell with a fiber filter. Not exaclty sure if there is a proper cleaning process for it. Back flush with water and let dry?

Anyway, I thought I'd pick up a couple of these in line magnetic transmission filters and put it in the return line from the transmission oil cooler
