Depends on the age of your truck, chances are it wont fade to match anytime soon. The best thing to do is polish the old paint. If you don't want to go with a power buffer, you can hand polish it using Zymol car polish. I like to use 2-3 coats(depending on how faded the paint is), and then use 2-3 coats of a good carnuba wax like Mother's after, to protect the polish.


More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
