What is the best way to clean the EGR valve?
I have a 93 V6 running a little rich and hesitating some under acceleration.
I am open to other things to check. Cap and rotor and plugs and wires and fuel filter are ok. No obvious vacuum leaks in intake / maf.

Thanks,
Kevin
on the other hand, I just rebuilt the rear end after the outer pinion bearing let go and all is well again. I am on a short tune up craze here.

I used a gun cleaning kit and gun cleaning solvent to clean mine. Small round brushes can get into much of the valve and then spend and afternoon filling the valve w/ solvent, let it sit for an hour or so, dump out and refill. Also clean any modulators, VSVs and hardlines feeding the EGR.
