I can't believe that guy expected you to pay for repairs on a 200,000 mile used car. A judge would laugh at him. Jiffy Lube sucks bigtime though. They got grease all over my Recaro Trophys in the GTI. They of course denied doing anything wrong and said it was my fault. My wife was wearing a white dress and obviously wasn't sitting in grease when we came in. When I showed the giant palm print on the light grey upholstery of the passenger seat and pointed to the ape in the bay who had been working on the car the manager reluctantly agreed it was their guy. I made them put it on the reciept before I left that they got the grease on the seat. They tried twice to get it steamed out and worked really hard to worm thier way out of it. I finally had a lawyer send corporate a letter. Month later I get a call to go to the dealer and get an estimate. $1,200 not inc labor or sales tax.I settled for $1,400 And no they didn't refund the lube and oil change.
