We have a link for a 93 over in the early trucks section; it's sticky'd. Has both 22RE and 3.0 information, so pay attention.

Body Damage is Cool
you can also subscribe to techinfo.toyota.com for a day for $10 and download the entire FSM for your specific truck as a bunch of PDF files. kind of a pain, but really cheap.

they also have a bunch of other cool stuff like all the TSBs, training manuals, etc. that you can also download.

well worth $10 and spending some time downloading stuff, imho.

you know this is the RIGHT thing to do.

that dude who put up that site is breaking soooooo many copyright laws it's silly.

plus he's hosting it on a university site...

when i first got my subaru STi a couple years ago, an STi BB had this project where a few dudes downloaded all the PDF files for the STi, from the subaru's techinfo site.

for $20 you had 72 hours to do whatever.

so someone wrote a script to d/l everything.

then someone wrote a webpage to arrange everything in a nice format including chapters and section titles.

of course this was all legal.

then suddenly on ebay, someone actually started selling a burned copy of the cd for like $20.

we all felt like we just been mugged...

I hear ya; that's why it's posted to enjoy while hosted; that individual will eventually move on. I've seen a couple other sources that have been shut down over time.

It's sure too bad Yota doesn't have some pre-90's manuals available on their site; Lord knows there's a demand for them.

Finally got my roomie's Corolla goodies off that site this last month. Nice to have schematics that don't need a magnifying glass to read!!!

I'm amazed at who grouses about not getting freebies, but don't think twice about layin' down a 10-spot for a pack of cigs or beer. Just the way it is, I s'pose.

Anyone try to register for the techinfo site from Canada? It says they will only accept registrations with US addresses. I could really use some info for my wife's car. It is a 98 Avalon. I have been putting off a repair on it but have to do it before the weather turns cold. There is a climate control doodad called an AC amplifier. It apparently does not take long to swap it but I am not sure where it is and how to get to it. I assume it to be under the dash in the centre somewhere behind the controls. Anyone out there know anything about this?

I did exactly that and I post to offer advice.

There are alot of files , and most of them have the same name, so you need to be prepared to store them in some directory hierarchy. I followed the directory structure they used as I saved the files.

Also, the $10 time begins at moment you pay for it and it ends in 24 hours, so you've got a full 24 hours.
