What makes the parts from Darlington and Matt (Indy4x) a tad more expensive than you can make it yourself is the fact that they've done the homework and the research and put the money into the testing and offer quality, realiable parts.

I think your choices are either support the local guys and the work they are doing for isuzu or forge the new ground yourself. If I was Joe or Matt I wouldn't be giving out my drawing and specs that I'd spend thousands on.

And not to sound harsh back, but if you don't know enough about the suspension and/or the methods of lifting it and the parts required, then it doesn't seem you really need to be attempting it yourself when there are tried and true methods available.

And also, if you really want to get expensive parts go buy a Jeep and spend a grand to get that 3".
