my shackles are bigger than the ones you have in the pic. Could be a mod the previous own did.he did do a lot of stuff to this truck before I got it.

Could be, You can use Toyota OEM shackles too but I don't know what the specs or the ## are and I don't know of anyone that has used them.

Yeah, I have seen that page

Keep in mind...

...you are now 2 inches hihacklesgher in the rear. Your shocks are extended 2 inches at park. Now is a good time to add longer shocks, and extended brake lines, in order to use that new found height and flex.

So, what size shocks do I need.

BTW, shackles arrived today.

Make sure you replace the brake line first so the drop of the new shocks do not pull it apart. I have not replaced my shocks because I found with the OEM shocks at full extend, the driveshaft starts to bind, Unless I drop the xfercase to suit. I am not gong to install longer shocks. If I break one, oh well.

I recommend taking the big thick spring off the bottom and replacing it with an add-a-leaf kit for beter articulation.
I do not have a stiffer front with cranked Tbars. I do have the larger diameter bars though. I also use softer shocks and no sway bar. Rides great but don't try to make a quick turn.
