I don't have any power tools , as I don't have a shop , so still fairly limited to tools It sounds like somewthing I could accomplish though , a little more work then what I did to swap the control arms , shocks , etc from one truck to another. The front end was easy , it was when I did the complete rear end from one to the other , thats is a real PITA to do by yourself , but I managed Talking to mechanics , they all said they wouldn't attempt it without the proper tools and an extra set of hands , guess I showed them The hardest paer was getting it all to line back up again , you have to jack it up , twist it just a hair , let it down , twist it again , jack it back up.Lots of fun
Maybe once I get the other stuff done , I'll take a stab at doing that , and maybe I will be able to afford an ARB for the front , or at the least a LSD , that way while the front is apart I can do that too at the same time , save a little bit of work

that way while the front is apart I can do that too at the same time , save a little bit of work Wise choice You don't want to do that twice . It's definitely doable in a driveway with hand tools. And hopefully, with a decent writeup, you can avoid the things that I had to figure out. That ate up a lot of time I'd hate to see a shop's price to install these I think it's worth the work for the result. I'll work on that writeup Andre

Sweet! I'll be waiting for the write up also, guess I'll do this next. My DOR products should be here tomorrow, no sure about indy, if it gets here before this weekend I might try getting my lift done.
Keep up the good work!

Did it screw up your alinment bad? The drop diff has no effect on the allignment at all. The only thing it affects is the mounting location of the drive axle, and therefore, the angle of the CV's. Nothing that locates the wheel is moved. If you think about it, the end of the CV that goes through the spindle does not change. The axle side is what gets lowered 1.5". It dosen't seem like a lot, but the before and after pics speak for themselves. Andre

Does the drop diff kit fit a 2000 trooper? Yes, they work for all Isuzus with retic. ball steering . I don't know if they've been installed on a Trooper yet. I beleive Joe is working on the ones for the later model Rodeo with R&P. I really think this is a great mod . I agree with others that I cannot believe more have not taken advantage of Joe's drop brackets. I think 1st gen rodeos and troopers would be hopping all over this. 2nd gens have a bit more to work with, but its still a fine addition. I wish I had had added a set when I did the front lockright .
PS: Add the tierod sheilds while you are at it!
