I have owned my rig for about 4 years. And as of lately I never get to drive it. I take the train to work but besides that the G/F (mollie) has been driving the rig quite frequently. She has become more comfortable with the extra hieght over her (former) stratus. After two accedents in cars she is enjoying the extra meat around her.

Well, it was time for her to get her own truck. Mine at 175K isn't a very good commute vehicle. We went hunting for other rodeos, I loved the '04 DI but couldn't justify the payments (long story). So she ended up with '01 4WD rodeo.

She just wants it showed off.

There are plans in the making already. Not quite a trail beast but a weekend warrior. My rims & tires will end up on hers, with the help of 2-3" el-cheepo lift. Sound system is coming out of the stratus (MP3-AMP-Sub), tint, and misc. stuff.

So the big question (hers not mine)...
Which Rodeo Has the Cool?

I voted for hers - but only because it's her birthday tomorrow.

FWIW, I just got a '98 Rodeo a few weeks ago when my '91 Trooper began to worry me a bit. I dig mine in a big way. Doing my first "off-road" trip with it tomorrow when my daughter and I drive over Guanella Pass.

'98 Rodeo, Ranchos, OME 912s, General Grabber AT2 265/70/16s on steelies, Superwinch hubs, G80 code, Pioneer HU... two car seats and cracker crumbs.

I voted for yours but only until you make some mods to the 2nd-gen, then my vote will swing the other way!
