recently, we noticed an accumulation of water on the passenger side floorboard of my girlfriends '89 Trooper. My immediate thought was we have a bad heater core. However, the liquid on the floor is not sweet like antifreeze, the coolant level is not low, and there are no other indications that this is anything but normal water.

Its a sizeable amount too. enough to completely soak the carpet padding and puddle underneath. I sopped up as much as i could, and its been about a week now, and doesn't seem to have dried up. In fact, its more wet I believe. There are also indications the drivers side is wet to, though not nearly as bad.

My only thoughts are, given we live on the east coast in the land of humidity and the temperatures around here lately, that this is due to a/c condensation. however, I didn't know what parts of the a/c system could produce such condensation *inside* the cab.

Any thoughts?
