Getting the Wheeling Fever

I have been reading this post for quite a while and have not seen this problem before. When I go to put my seatbelt on it will not release unless I play around with it for awhile by gently tugging or hitting the side panel where the mechanism is. If I do get to put the seatblt on it usally stays tight and I can,t even lean forward. I have removed the seatbelt assembly and do not see anthing that can be repaired. Any suggestions? I have seen the 100K warranty mentioned fot the return problem. Would this apply also. I am presently at 85K.
