Switch motor oil to Castrol GTX 10w40. Castrol has a very higher burning (flash) temperature and will not burn away as fast. It has worked for me for 40 years.
My engines with 125K, 192K and 235K miles used no oil. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
