With the help of a number of friends I was able to actually get this thing fired up yesterday, not to mention get the entire cage done, get all the plumbing in, front body panels mounted, winch mounted, electrical done, etc..... I dont have time to go into everything that happened, but basically a lot of my friends worked their asses off for free and made it happen. BIG thank you to Dustin, Steve, Wayne, Josh, Peter, Will & his brother, and Alex. I couldn't have done it without you guys. There's still more to be done, but the list is getting very short. Heres a couple pics.

I don't know if Dallas will find the time to reply but it probably won't come off of the chassis jig till Thursday (at the earliest) and he rolls out of town on Friday, finished or not. It's flex test might be live on the first trail he hits in Arizona next weekend!!

I really wish I could be there to watch. I went last year and braved the rain and cold, but it was well worth it. This year I'll be a bit busy racing Ironman Arizona in Tempe so I won't be able to attend.

Well after such a late night last night I would have liked to sleep in a bit more, but there's still work to be done, so after a 5 hour snooze I went back in to start finishing some things up. After mocking everything up yesterday we pulled a bunch of things off in order to paint the chassis, so I started by putting the radiator, fan, master cylinders, and brake lines in. Then I just couldn't resist seein what the body looked like so I went ahead and mounted it up and cut down the grille, then put the floor panels, and seats in.
