From the looks of it, you did a great job preserving the lines of the troop. I love it! Coolest rock buggy ever!

Getting the Wheeling Fever
This is the sickest rock buggy I have ever seen. I love seeing the Trooper body panels on it. Way to go Dallas. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Roll Me Over
Well it came right down to the wire, but its now rolling under its own power. There are still a few things that need to be done before it hits the trails, but I'll do em during the competition this weekend in Globe as long as I dont have to fix anything on the redbull rigs. I brought the old stinkbug into the shop today so I could borrow a few things to get me goin. The wheels, tires, bikini top and front axle shafts mostly. it was kinda cool to see the two rigs in the shop together for the first time.

A few friends came over and helped me pull the buggy off the chassis jig. It was a fairly frightening method of removal, and I dont reccomend you try it at home, but it did work and was a lot faster than the way we removed waynes.

Once the buggy was in the air, I started pulling parts off the amigo, its kinda sad looking, but at least it'll survive to wheel another day instead of gettin parted out.

It was too dark to take pics of the test drive around the parking lot, but it ran great. I'll post up some more pics in the morning before I leave for AZ.
