Hey smilely, a quick way to tell the difference between a D44 and a D60 is the size of the diff cover bolts. D44 takes a 1/2" socket and the D60 takes a 9/16" socket. It deffinatley looks to be a d44 from here. probably from a Chevy by looking at the passenger u-bolts not to mention the 14bolt that is with it. 3/4 ton stuff.
Just my.02, since I haven't been around in a while.

that is an 8 lug 44 and 14 bolt combo most likely from a 3/4 ton Suburban


front is Ball joint and has a J arm

only ford had bj 60's w/ hubs

That's a 14-bolt Full Floater on there.
(I went over to his house and confirmed it personally before posting)


Paul has decided not to build-up the Mazda, and instead thinks he'd like to sell it as-is. --- And after being informed of the 4.10 gears, I'm betting he'll entertain offers.

I'll start a thread over in the For Sale Section shortly.

Yea, a 14bff is a pretty darn unique design. its tough to confuse those axles even from the worse pictures.
