Body Damage is Cool
Well one more addition to my 82 truck.
Here's the latest on the tube work being done to it.

Still have to get the sliders done and do some more finish welds add light tabs for the turn signals and sand and paint it.

Similar in design to the badlands bumper but way lighter and stronger since it is welded right to the frame.
I can pretty much put any kind of winch we want on it he used 1/4" plate for the mount.
Had the winch plate bent at Iriqouis. A place that fabricates dump truck and utility work beds.
My buddy Damien does some nice work though for just using a torch to heat the DOM and cheap harbour freight tubing bender.

Roll Me Over
i've been doing much the same but with HREW and the same bender, and without heat it will kink, and with heat, it will bubble a little bit.
I'm gona fill the tube with sand to keep it from collapsing, and heat if necessary.
What size tubing are you using? I'm using 1 3/4" .120 wall.

I dunno you coming down?
Need to organize something haven't heard anything out of Chris since he got his new truck you'd think he gave up wheeling or something...

Who? Wha..? Oh, sorry I was staring out the window at the new truck again.

I know, I know. The rockin IFS '89 is almost back to wheelin status. I gotta repair a brake line and replace the valve adjusters. She "purr's like a hungry kitty tiger", though

Been real busy this summer... now I'm workin on getting a house w/ "the misses". Find out tonite if it's mine or not It's a sweet place. As soon as we move in I'm taking the torches to the IFS in my new garage!

Looks great but since it's welded on the frame, can you still slide a winch down in there? Looks tight. Removing the grill will probably help. Good job, nice and clean .
