An in teresting comment. Last winter I took the 87 to the NJ/NYC area. Lots of long rolling hills across PA on I-80. I got the usual ~13MPG that I had been getting. On the way back, and with head winds that would cause me to grip the wheel tightly, I got just over 11MPG. I too have a 2" BL.
