Ok BigJim, my dad works for a parts store and told me the plugs I'm using are the propper heat range and everything. They are Champion copper cores....or sumthin. The engine was running even worse before I put those in, the ones that came in the truck when I bought it were 3 platinums and one regular,plus the dizzy cap and rotor were pitch black <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />, very sluggish.
The engines got 221,000 miles on it and still runs strong but its giving me fits when I have to get to speed or get run over <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />.

Sunder, I have a Haynes and the tool so I'll give that a try as well.
