I knew something sounded fishy about the weight of mineà

I have to go get my tags renewed today û so, last night I was getting the paperwork together, and I noticed where the Gross Vehicle Weight is claimed to be 4000 lbs. on the registration.

I looked at that figure and immediately thought ôThereÆs just NO WAY!ö --- More than likely, someone somewhere along the line just guessed at the empty weight - because even before all of the mods (bigger tires, rock bars, brush guard, etc.) this thing wouldnÆt have tipped the scales at 4000 lbs. with Helium in the tires! (*metaphorically speaking)


I only mention this because the exact same sort of clerical error might also apply to someone else - therefore, just in case - for an accurate before & after, youÆll probably be better off putting it on the scales both times, rather than relying on whatever it says on your registration.
