Psshhh. My Trooper does every bit of 100 if I really want it to. It can keep up around 85. However, I'm cheap, and broke, and I don't like to worry about driving, so I'm plastered in the right lane at 55-65. Actually I only hit 95-100 once, when I got my new tires smile. Had to make sure they balanced well . But I can consistently hit 85-90.

FWIW, I've got one, too... I have no idea what it does, but when I routed the Ford EFI through there I needed to relocate it a bit. I left it plugged in, since I had no idea what it did. The vehicle in question at my end is a 1990 Amigo that had a 2.6 4ZE1.

I'm with BigSwede on this one. That might explain how the black helicopters can find my house.

Try getting one of these. I wear one when I drive and have yet to have been followed by a single black helicopter.

Wet blanket time.
Are there any numbers on it? Any markings?
Can you probe it with the key off and on?
If no one else knows, you can certainly start to narrow it down.

[color:"white"]? 04 Rodeo DI ?[/color] 75k mi, body damage on the 1st weekend I got it.

Body Damage is Cool
Just unplug it and see if the truck blows up or not Thats the quickest way to find out what it does or does not do.Any ill effects will be noticed right away.I have it on both my troopers , and they both have cruise , so a wild guess , thats what I'm thinking it is.

I've heard that a 2G Trooper has no problem getting to 100 mph. I heard it from, uh, a friend.*

*he was not on a public highway when this alleged incident occurred.
