Ok, so I got it replaced and the old one did have a hold in it. Ended up having my girlfriend do it cuz she has smaller hands. How snug does the hose have to fit? I replaced it with a 3/16th fuel hose instead of 3/16h vacuum hose cuz the fuel hose is thicker and stronger then vacuum hose, but to doesn't seam to be as tight a fit, just slides on but not real lose. But I don't think it would of been possible to get a tighter hose on there because there is just no room to push it on. Is there a downside to using fuel hose instead of vacuum hose?

Also if I had a leaky fuel pressure regulater how much fuel would be in the vacuum line? The old line seamed a bit damp with fuel, not much, but it did smell strongly of fuel.

What would it do if there was a hole in the vacuum line?
