what kinda filter did you use for the MV-50 compressor? i absolutely hate the cheap little plastic one that comes with it.

I found some cheap breather filter from APC. I think it is for a honda or something. It is held on with a zip tie and a brass fitting

x2 on the filter for the MV 50? the cheap plastic one is terrible...but works alright.

very nice buildup...clean..looks good. one thing i would do is get some longer rear shocks and mount them on the back of the axle, get an extra 4-5 inches of travel.

I don't think I need any extra travel, but I would like to move the top of the shocks out to make it more stable

How often do you have issues with the spare tire blocking rear visibility on the trail?

I just noticed you are using Chevy lowering shackles for your lower double shackle setup. Not a good idea! They were designed for tension, not compression, and when you install them this way they will eventually collapse!

I have had that double shackle set up on my truck for over 4 years with out any problem. I have wheeled it as hard as the IFS would let me. As far as the rear tire. I just back up until I hit something. Then I know I have went far enough. That bumper is not going anywhere <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Ahh yes, the picture that is brought up every time chevy lowering shackles are used. I don't know what kind they are that failed, but mine are of a completely different design.
Looke at the distance between the leaf spring bolt and where the shackle is reinforced. Its like they used one that was longer than normal.
On mine the reinforcement starts right away. There is no long gap inbetween. Not the best pic, but you get the idea.
