Hey! I'm ok! Still waiting for internet service to be restored (using brothers dialup). Had 24" of water in living room but house is basicly intact. lots of folks worse off than I. Thanks for good wishes. Hope to be back online soon. The Jeep is Ok too, water came up to top of 32" tires. found out need new seals in front diff. Thanks again! More later.

THANK GOD as you said there are alot worse off but thankful for there lifes it is a very sad situation my wife was watching the news, and people where showing signs with the names of their loved ones and you know some are children which is the worst. i would rather have my house and all my possesions washed away than loose my wife and son.I am truely happy you are safe and your brother too good luck in the cleanup and take care of yourself and others

so pete, is it handy to own a modified jeep during a natural disaster? have your usual wheeling grounds changed to a whole new set of obstacles? i figured it'd be ok, you could always just go wheeling if you need to escape!! best of luck drying out.

I am just across the line in Alabama, Pete. We didnt take the lick you did. If ya need anything from this side of the line let me know and I will shoot it to ya. My cuz in Gulfport lost it all. Heard they are alive but the house is gone. May be headed that way this weekend, let me know.

It's a relief to here you're alright. The pictures shown of Mississippi were dis-heartening.

Thanks ALL, Still borrowing dialup time so I'll just say, I have all I need for the time being, thanks so much for the offers! Yes, it was good to have a working modified Jeep after the surge to go and check on friends, neighbors and relatives soon after the water receeded.

Thanks again for the Offers and concerns.
Pete
