About six months ago, I paid $85 for new rear brake pads at the local dealer. Of course I wasn't happy about paying such an outrageous amount of money for pads...then I realized that I got 180,000 miles out of the originals. No joke. They've never been changed, and my commute involves a ten mile stretch of curvey mountain roads. When I changed the pads, they weren't squeeling and they still had some meat on them. Good job Isuzu.

Yeah, I should have saved a few bucks by shopping at St. Charles. Oh well, next time.
