I've run BFG AT's for many years on my trucks and always liked them although they are loud and hard. Air them down and they wheel just fine.
I just bought some Goodyear Wranglers last week...What a difference...super quiet and much softer ride... as for wheeling... I don't wheel hard so these should work out just fine..
I heard Revo's are pretty good too.
Pass on any mud tire if 90% of your drivetime is on road. They won't last 20K miles.
