The Rancho 9000X adjustable shocks may be the best for you. It sounds like you want a good ride as a daily driver. You can dial them down for as soft a ride as you want.

They need slight modifications to fit (very minor) and sometimes they can knock against the front sway bar (mine hasn't for a long time). They are more expensive than non-adjustable shocks. Check them out on Matt's site
