There are two things about Rancho 9000X which make them the best shocks and which overweight all their disadvantages:

1. You can have them dialed according to your preferences and, even more important, you can dial rear and front shocks differently. From my experience, it's very important. Rodeo needs front shocks stiffer than rear, for best possible handling and comfort.

2. Ranchos are all available in multiple sizes and variants. You can choose exact size you need, according to your private specs. This is what I did when I needed the longest shocks which fit my custom Rodeo suspension. I just measured everything and ordered the closest application.
