As I said, this tranny is electronic. Maybe it's the AODE you're talking about. Won't know for sure until I get the numbers off of it.

Advanced Adapters has an adapter with modified output shaft, t-case adapter, and hardware. This kit will allow me to keep the t-case the stock distance from either diff and I'll be able to retain the stock driveshafts. Apparently the strength of the stock shafts is sufficient to transfer power from the tranny to the diffs. I'm not sure who else makes them, but knowing they're out there is a reassurance. Wish I could have had some luck with the old tranny, though. Perhaps another project later on...by then I could have learned to rebuild the A4LD.

I did manage to find headers from Hedman for around $120, but I'm skeptical they have a bung for the O2 sensor. Worse comes to worse, I should be able to use a set of manifolds from a Mustang. After al, I'll need the oil pan from the same car.

As for the documentation, I can only promise decent pics; I am not all that great at writing. Perhaps one of the more experienced members can help with this?
